Bloomsburg University Team Football Camp

Sunday, July 15th to Wednesday, July 18th

The Bloomsburg University Football camps have a proud tradition of offering coaches everything their teams will need to prepare for the upcoming season. Players will receive plenty of individual attention from the BU staff members that coach each position group. It is well known that the BU Camp is particularly good for the offensive and defensive line positions. The linemen receive extensive individual periods and participate in numerous team competitions. Quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs will match-up against each other in 1 on 1 drill. Two of the most popular features of the camp are the Inside Drill Period and the 11 on 11 Team Sessions. Both drills are well controlled, with the interior defenders holding shields while reacting to the offensive play. Each day there will be 7 on 7 sessions that will aid in sharpening both your pass offense and pass defense.

The great part of the camp is that it is flexible. We consult coaches daily on the needs of their teams and work to structure the practices around those needs. You can participate in what you want. If you need more instuction time with your team, you can skip an Inside Period and make it a Team Special Teams Period. Our coaches teach your stuff.

We will meet with each coach at the beginning of camp to discuss their goals for the camp and what plays, defenses and techniques you teach. Each team will have an opportuynity to compete against all the other teams in camp.

You will see quality competition from teams with varying offensive and defensive schemes on a rotating basis. We strive to work the players hard and at the same time make it fun with a number of individual and team competitions, including our annual Bench Press Competition and our QB/WR Skills Challenge.

This is a tremendous opportunity to implement a new scheme, sharpen your old game plan, build team chemistry and get the kids away from home to focus on football. All of this will take place on a beautiful college campus under the supervision of one of the top Division II football programs in the country.

*This is a helmet only camp during team interaction. You may use shoulder pads during your own team periods.
